The 1921 Peace silver dollar was a new design that came after the Morgan dollar to commemorate peace from WWI. The only issue of this coin in high relief is the 1921 with the rare exception of a few 1922’s.
Majority of the 1922 high relief coins ended up being melted at the mint. This high relief design was deemed impractical at the time and a more shallow relief was put into production for all remaining years. The Peace dollar was issued up until 1935 however, the coin was intended to make a re-appearance in 1964 instead all coins were subsequently melted.
