Over 100 years old! This true antique ring has seen so much and oh how we wish that it could talk, to share it’s story. This lovely Edwardian engagement ring features a GIA certified 1.63ct transitional round cut diamond. The transitional cut diamond was the transition between and Old European Cut and today’s modern brilliant cut diamond. Some of the more notable changes made were the culet of the diamond starting to be eliminated, the table size increase and crown angles becoming less steep. This particular cut is noted for looking larger than it’s weight displays.

GIA is the only recognized and non-disputable gemological laboratory in the world, you can shop with confidence in this ring and your investment. The center diamond is VS2 (eye clean) in clarity and near colorless. The transitional cut diamond has been securely set in a platinum, crown like head, giving this ring a very regal look. The setting is composed of 18k yellow gold that has a delicate feminine design, accented by (6) old cut round diamonds. The Edwardian period ranged from 1901-1915. During this period jewelry went from large and ostentatious to ethereal and delicate almost overnight. This era is especially sought after today, propose with a one of a kind piece of history.
