COMMENTS: From the 1930’s of the Art Deco period, this diamond engagement ring features a scintillating 0.73 carat Transitional cut round Diamond. The transitional cut diamond was the transition between and Old European Cut and today’s modern brilliant cut diamond. Some of the more notable changes made were the culet of the diamond starting to be eliminated, the table size increase and crown angles becoming less steep. This particular cut is noted for looking larger than it’s weight displays. The diamond also comes GIA certified, the only non-disputable laboratory in the world. You can rest assured in your investment when you buy a GIA certified diamond. The center diamond is VS2 in clarity, and K color, facing up white and bright. The setting is constructed of platinum and has been well constructed to last another century. The total carat weight of all the diamonds in the engagement ring is 0.79 carats. Pictured as received from a local estate in very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
