COMMENTS: Crafted of 14k gold, this modernist ring features a 2.00 carat teal spinel securely set in a 6 prong white gold head. The stone has a unique blueish green color like tropical ocean around Fiji. The setting is yellow gold with a modernist style and bypass design. Known as “The Great Imposter,” spinel is one of the most underappreciated gemstones. Spinel comes in every color of the rainbow including this teal, similar to a blue diamond! Said to be polished by the spirits, this August birthstone alternative is sure to please. Birthstone: August Anniversary: 65. Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
