Estate 14k Gold Green Jade Beaded Necklace with Carving

COMPOSITION: 14k Yellow Gold, Acid tested

MARKS: None. Acid tested to 14k standard.

CONDITION: Estate Item, Excellent (minimal wear)

COMMENTS: The jade beads have a soft celadon green color with slight variations, they are well matched for color and graduate in size with the smallest in the back and the larger towards the front. The 60 jade beads are individually knotted on green thread. The front of the necklace features a 14k yellow gold setting with a detailed carving depicting a floral design. One obvious meaning of the jade stone is purity or purification. And because jade is regarded as a stone that protects and supports loving heart energy, jade also symbolizes gentleness and nourishment. So, yet another meaning of jade is harmony and balance. Circa 1960-70’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
