Vintage estate solitaire ring circa 1930’s crafted in 14K yellow gold displaying a round faceted lab grown Pink Sapphire gemstone measuring 1.88 carat. September’s birthstone also celebrates the 5th and 45th wedding anniversary. Pictured as received from a local estate. Cleaning or polishing to near new is available by request at no additional cost.
The difference between a natural and a lab-grown Sapphire is its origin. Both are identical materials and have the same molecular makeup. Lab-created have the same physical properties, visual characteristics and hardness level as the natural gemstones. The lab grown stones are created by man in a carefully controlled environment. These are typically of the finest quality as far as color and clarity. Many prefer lab gems for their environmentally friendly origin.
