COMMENTS: Our pendant depicts a Mahi-mahi in excellent detail. The colorful fish with blue sapphires on its fin and green emeralds on its back are burnish set in the pendant. The Mahi-mahi has a sapphire accent in its eye and wonderful etched detail in its fin and tail. This pendant would make a great gift for the fishing enthusiast in our life! The mahi-mahi or common dolphinfish is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical, and subtropical waters worldwide. Also widely called dorado and dolphin, it is one of two members of the family Coryphaenidae, the other being the pompano dolphinfish. The name mahi-mahi comes from the Hawaiian language and means “very strong”, through the process of reduplication. _x000D_
