Represents abundance, fertility, peace and good fortune. The cornucopia, a decorative, horn-shaped wicker basket commonly used as a table centerpiece at Thanksgiving, is a symbol of abundance and nourishment. To symbolize thankfulness for the abundance of the harvest, the farmers filled a goat horn with fruit and grain.
