COMMENTS: Wow! This ring is a showstopper! The navette shape of the ring measures 1 1/4″ long making this an impressive statement piece! The marquise cut purple sapphire measures over 5 carats. The stone is bezel set in a halo of flowers and leaves. Dating back to the early 1900’s, this ring is hallmarked on the outside of the shank with 583 and the makers mark. The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic. She will not be able to stop admiring this ring and will feel like royalty wearing it! Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
