Vintage Sterling Silver Native American Red Coral Squash Blossom Necklace and Ring Set

“Squash blossom” is a term which has long been applied to this style of unique necklace produced by Southwestern Indians. It was first made by the Navajo and later by the Zuni and Hopi Indians. This necklace and ring came from the same estate. They compliment each other very well but only the necklace is signed. On the back of the pendant, it is signed “Leon Kirlie.” At just over 26″ long, this necklace makes quite the statement! The pendant is an impressive 2 3/4″ wide. The ring measures 2 1/2″ long filling most of my finger! The workmanship and design are outstanding, the necklace and ring are truly a work of art! Circa 1960-70’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
