COMMENTS: Bold and impressive, this gemstone ring features wonderfully saturated emeralds totaling over 1 1/2 carat! They are oval cut and securely prong set horizontally. In the center of the emerald cluster is a fully cut round brilliant diamond. This mesmerizing stone’s velvety green color is unmistakable. The rich color is renowned as a color of spring and has long been a symbol of romance, hope and rebirth. As the precious gem associated with the goddess Venus, emerald is also commonly believed to aid in fertility. As the gem of spring, emerald is the perfect choice as the birthstone for the month of May. It’s also the gem of the twentieth and thirty-fifth wedding anniversaries. Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
