COMMENTS: Crafted of rich 18k yellow gold, this bright ring features a marquise-cut tanzanite and 6 round brilliant cut diamonds. The tanzanite measures .60 carat with V-shaped prongs on the points. The diamonds are securely channel set along the shoulders of the ring. Discovered in Tanzania in 1967, Tanzanite’s luminous violet blue hue exerts a strong attraction. Some shade variations closely resemble cornflower blue sapphire. Tanzanite can enhance awareness, awaken the heart, and elevate mood. It is a December birthstone and celebrates the 8th wedding anniversary. Birthstone: December · Anniversary: 8. Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
